/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Parkinson Research Foundation's January inaugural New Hope for Parkinson's Cruise, is quickly filling with patients and their caregivers. The 3-night Bahamas cruise is designed for Parkinson's disease patients, caregivers and families, and will provide a series of seminars and lectures about this disease.
"We are overwhelmed and delighted at the response to this new venture," suggested Larry Hoffheimer, Chairman of the Parkinson Research Foundation. "PRF knew that this was an event that would be useful to Parkinson's patients and the reservations that we have received show that the Parkinson's community agrees. With people coming from as far away as Holland, British Columbia and several states across the country we are extremely pleased with the overwhelming reception we have been getting."
The program for the cruise will include presentations by prominent Parkinson's disease physicians and clinicians, Dr. Juan Sanchez-Ramos, Dr. Stuart Isaacson, and Dr. Theresa Zesiewicz. Patients and their caregivers can also participate in support group meetings, exercise classes and wellness seminars.
