Cambridge Who's Who
/Cambridge Who's Who/ - Southfield, MI, April 9, 2008, Patricia McMillon, Consultant for PMC Reading Specialist, will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the
Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in reading education and counseling.
Ms. McMillon, who is officially retired, boasts 37 years of professional experience in education, having begun her career as a special education teacher. As a consultant for PMC, a sole proprietorship providing education services, she specializes in teaching reading and counseling, particularly for people with special needs. She attributes her success to hard work and dedication, and looks forward to enjoying her retirement while still using her expertise to help children.
A proud alumna of Wayne State University, Ms. McMillon holds a Specialist in Education Degree, with a major in Educational Administration, a Master's Degree in Special Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, with a major in Psychology. Also a Certified Social Worker, she obtained her certificate of completion from the same university in 1974. She is affiliated with Phi Delta Kappa, the Women of Wayne Alumni Association, the Council for Exceptional Children, the Metro Alliance of Black School Educators and the Community Service Commission.
