She previously worked as a case manager for five years and has provided solutions to several issues pertaining to her profession that were published in a white paper. Ms. Stemmermann received her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1969 and a Nursing Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1981.
