Press Release April 17, 2008
Ms. Harlow, an activist as well as a writer, uses her stories to turn her readers' attention to the environment, her favorite cause, as well as political issues.

/24-7PressRelease/ - Binghamton, NY, April 17, 2008, Patty Fayerweather Harlow, Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of creative writing.

A creative spirit from an early age, Ms. Harlow traces her love of writing back to eighth grade. After being involved in a car accident that left her in a coma, Ms. Harlow learned to walk again and courageously pursued a college education despite some minor loss of memory. It was at Broome Community College that Ms. Harlow re-discovered writing and excelled in all modes of written expression. An activist as well as a writer, Ms. Harlow uses her stories to turn her readers' attention to the environment, her favorite cause, as well as political issues. The series Rock with Rodney and Party with Perky to Preserve Wildlife 1, 2... is a perfect example of Ms. Harlow's signature style: fictional fun children's characters help teach children about the serious environmental issues we face today.

Ms. Harlow received her Associate Degree in Marketing from Broome Community College in 1990 and holds a Degree from the Institute of Children's Literature, which she earned in 1993. An authority on fiction and non-fiction writing, Ms. Harlow is available to speak to the media. Contact (607) 724-3161.
