Paul J. Magno, Founder and President of Worldwide Helicopter Solutions, LLC, has been Named an Entrepreneur of the Year in Aviation

Magno, Founder and President of Worldwide Helicopter Solutions, LLC, has been named a Worldwide Branding Entrepreneur of the Year in Aviation. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. Experienced in helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft avionics design, certification and maintenance, Mr. Magno has been in the rotorcraft field for 36 years. Starting Worldwide Helicopter Solutions, LLC in 2002, he wanted to solve the issues plaguing his industry, namely the increasing requirements and complexities of the aviation business and the decreasing availability and quality of services necessary to keep pace with the rapidly changing field.

Building a successful business through hard work and industry knowledge, Mr. Magno specializes in training and technical support for helicopter automatic flight control and other avionics systems. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of Worldwide Helicopter Solutions, LLC, he actively works on projects directly with his clients and provides service in a timely and efficient manner at an affordable price. While employed with Honeywell International, he contributed to the certification of numerous systems aboard a variety of helicopters and airplanes, including Airbus (formerly Eurocopter), Agusta, Bell, and Sikorsky. In 1999, he was acknowledged by Honeywell for outstanding helicopter operation support. He also served as a consultant and FAA DER (Designated Engineering Representative) with delegations in systems and equipment, structural, and flight analyst categories and continues to do so with Worldwide Helicopter Solutions. In the coming years, Mr. Magno intends to become more involved in bringing products to market to support the helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft industries.

Mr. Magno received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1979 and is also an instrument rated pilot and airframe and powerplant mechanic.
