Paul Lloyd Teem, Jr. Honored by Marquis Who's Who for 30 Years of Experience in Banking

Mr. Teem was named to 12 volumes of Who's Who in Finance and Business



    GASTONIA, NC, March 07, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul Lloyd Teem Jr. has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process. After working in the banking industry for three decades, Mr. Teem retired on October 1, 2012 from his roles as executive vice president, secretary, and chief administrative officer of Citizens South Bank, Citizens South Holdings, Citizens South Banking Corporation, and Citizens South Financial Services, Inc.

Mr. Teem holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University North Carolina at Charlotte as well as certification, a diploma of merit, and a degree of distinction from the Institute of Financial Education, Chicago. He was also certified to teach in North Carolina, Virginia, and New Jersey, is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina, and formerly a licensed Lay Eucharistic Minister and Lay Reader in the Episcopal Church. He is a communicant of Saint Mark's Episcopal Church in Gastonia.

He is a Fellow of the Society of Certified Credit Executives, a life member of the National Society of the Sons and Daughters of Antebellum Planters, a life member of the Military Order of the Stars and Bars, a life member of Oasis Temple of Shriners International in Charlotte, a life member of the Royal Order of Scotland, as well as a life member of the York Rite Sovereign College in Charlotte, and an endowed member of the Gastonia Lodge No. 369 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Gastonia Commandery of Knights Templar, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Freemason in Charlotte, a member of the National Society of the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Phi Alpha Theta Honorary Society, and the Gaston County, North Carolina, Historical Society. Since 1995, Mr. Teem has been commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky. He served the local organization of Freemasons on its Board of Directors and was recognized by the York Rite Sovereign College of Freemasons in Charlotte with a Distinguished Service award (1987), Gold Honor award (1988), and the Order of the Purple Cross of York (1990). He was honored with the Order of DeMolay Active Legion of Honor (1989). Furthermore, in 2016, Mr. Teem received the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, which is the highest honor the Governor of North Carolina can bestow.

Mr. Teem has served on the Board of Directors of the Gastonia Masonic Temple Association, Inc. since 1981 to the present, the Board of Directors of the Gastonia Merchants Association, Inc. from 1981 to 1983, and the Board of Directors of Citizens South Financial Services, Inc. from 1987 to 2012.

He has been featured in Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
