PHOENIX, AZ, May 19, 2010
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Popular and outspoken Paul Tracy will be the Newsmaker of the Week on The Race Reporters radio show, Wednesday, May 19, 7 p.m. EDT, on http://www.PowerUpChannel.com.
Tracy is back at the Indianapolis 500 driving the Geico Honda for KV Racing Technology. In 2002, he was involved in the famous and controversial Indy finish
in which, after appeals, Tracy was ruled to have finished second to Helio Castroneves.
Tracy began in the CART series in 1991 and went on to win the Champ Car title in 2003 with seven wins.
Host Michael Knight will be joined for the journalists' roundtable by NASCAR writers Mike Mulhern, of MikeMulhern.net; and Kenny Bruce, of SceneDaily.com. Then, Gordon Kirby, United States editor of Motor Sport, will come on to help interview Tracy, and to offer his pre-Indy 500 observations.
Looking ahead: John Force - the original Newsmaker guest and racing's biggest personality -- will return for the June 9 one-year anniversary show. Debut media panelists Paul Page and Jon Asher also will be on. Plus special surprise guests from around the racing world.
