Paul Vik Marshall, CAS Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Innovation Marketing

    Los Angeles, California, May 30, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul Vik Marshall, CAS, co-founder and chief executive officer for SolarOnSet LLC and President of Rodgers & Marshall Sound, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in innovation marketing.

Mr. Marshall has 23 years of experience providing professional services to the entertainment industry. Marshall's company, Solar On Set LLC, provides portable, green, solar-powered charging stations equipped with the latest generation of 4G Wi-Fi. The Los Angeles-based solar company currently manufactures, rents and sells these environmentally friendly devices to the film and television industry and will be branching into search and rescue and disaster relief organizations. Since March of 2010, SolarOnSet has provided clean, solar charging solutions for cell phones and laptop computers in its RayCatcher series. Solar On Set's products worked on seven Super Bowl XLVI commercial spots and assorted other television and event productions.

Mr. Marshall started out as a gemologist, (GIA Certified), for five years, but after being robbed in a foreign country and losing everything, he decided it would be safer to make a documentary about gem stones rather than sell them. This experience led him into the sound mixing arena, where he has been a sound professional for the last 23 years. Mr. Marshall has been President and Co-owner of Rodgers & Marshall Sound for the last 13 years. He then partnered with four other professionals to develop a portable solar charging system to meet the internet and charging needs of the entertainment industry. He attributes his success to hard work, patience, perseverance, being visionary and liking challenges. He has been published as a contributing writer for the Cinema Audio Society's Quarterly Journal and speaks at and puts on seminars — both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Marshall received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The Regents of the University of California, Davis. He is on the Board of Directors of the Cinema Audio Society. Additionally, he is on the Executive Sound Peer Group Committee for the Emmys at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in Los Angeles, CA and has been a member of IATSE Local 695 since 1991.
