With a life-long passion for music, Ms. Webster-Grant founded Phillybass'd Records in 2000. Due to the ever expanding services Ms. Webster-Grant was supplying in 2012 the company was expanded to include Phillybass'd Entertainment as the parent company to Phillybass'd Records. As multi-faceted as it is competitive, Phillybass'd Entertainment has offices in Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles. Currently targeting unsigned artists and authors, the company has successfully developed many artists into famous names. Most notably, Phillybass'd Entertainment represented singer/songwriter Robert Allen, who collaborated with Chris Brown and Andre Merritt on two multi-platinum, internationally popular songs, "Forever" and "Disturbia." Mr. Allen has also produced records for R. Kelly, Kaci Battaglia, SugaBabes, and Omarion; he is planning to release his own album in the near future.
With more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Ms. Webster-Grant is uniquely positioned to oversee international clients in artistic development, personal management, and music production. Drawing on her educational background, which includes an MBA, she educates clients on the business aspects of the entertainment industry. This strategy largely empowers these artists to succeed. Honored with the Entrepreneur Award in 2000, Ms. Webster-Grant keeps abreast of changes and trends in her industry through her affiliation with the American Management Association, the National Association of Professional Women, the National Association for Female Executives and the Historical Honor Society.
