/24-7PressRelease/ -- One of leading Russian grain processors OJSC PAVA is developing a project to increase semolina selection on the Mikhailovsky mill. Teaming up with R&D specialists from the Altay State Technical University, technologists of the company are working on a process design which would allow to double output of the product.
Recently, selection rate was raised from 4 to 6%, when PAVA upgraded the purifying system of the plant to improve separation of intermediate fractions in wheat milling. The measure also allowed to lower specific costs while maintaining consistently superior quality. Now the company will continue its efforts on streamlining the production process to expand the semolina manufacturing capacity to at least 10%.
This decision is driven by steadily high demand for the product, which has at times outstripped the supply.
