/24-7PressRelease/ - LOS ANGELES, CA, January 08, 2008 - PDM, Productive Data Management, Inc., has partnered with ENS, an Ingenix corporation, for their electronic claim transactions. When claims are submitted to ENS, they immediately send messages to PiMS and worklist any exceptions to a PiMS user for immediate follow-up - a seamless integration between the two vendors. In addition, initiated claim status respones are worklisted back to the PiMS.
PiMS, Patient Information Management Solution is a full practice management system with integration to ENS, Electric Network Systems. There is no need to log on to two separate systems to track claims. Claims submitted to ENS are immediately acknowledged and any exceptions are worklisted with status of those claims. Billers have immediate knowledge and follow-up for any claims that did not pass the initial formatting rules.
The acknowledgements codes and categories are identical to the ones that are reviewed on the clearinghouse site. Claims can be corrected and resubmitted easily.
Electronic Remittance Advice is also a part of the integration. The ERA transactions for payments, adjustments and denials are first reviewed and if required, flagged to be ignored. With a click of one button, all the payments and adjustments are posted. The process is further automated by automatically worklisting denials and partial payments. If the remaining balance was sent to the secondary insurance, the system will automatically release the second and in PiMS, start tracking for the remainder of the payment.
PDM's practice management software, PiMS, is easy to use for scheduling, billing and follow up collection system. A full robust system for resource scheduling - patient demographics and patient and insurance billing. Any outstanding balance for either the insurance balance or patient balance is tracked and worklisted until the account is at zero balance. All activity is retained with no purging of patient information for a full historical view at any time. The software has a full suite of real-time reports - giving current outstanding balances, revenue and payment and adjustments with selection choices for refining each report's output.
