As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, multi-media marketing company PrimaDonna Productions, Inc. (PDP) will host its first annual Movie Drive at Newforest Estates, a local senior living facility, on Thursday, April 15.
"We've been part of the local film industry for ten years now," explains PDP President and CEO Nikki Young, who started the firm with Chadd Green as a video production company in 2000. "so this is a chance to bring the film community together with the community as a whole. It's a great opportunity to recycle your favorite movies and pass them on for others to enjoy."
Young and other members of PDP's staff will be at the facility, located just outside Loop 410 and north of Evers, throughout the day to collect gently used and new DVDs from visitors; the films will become part of Newforest Estates' media library.
Sandy Vereb, Director of Marketing and Sales for Newforest Estates, adds, "When PrimaDonna approached us about creating a film library for our residents, we thought it would make a wonderful gift for them. With Earth Month taking place in April, we're all concerned about becoming more 'green' and leaving a better world for the generations that follow us, and it's just as important to make that world better for the generations that preceded us. That's part of our mission at Newforest Estates, so this Movie Drive is a fun way to carry that mission forward."
