Throughout her 42-year-long career, Peggy Flynn has established herself as an expert in report analysis and database maintenance. After working in the security industry for many years, she decided to make a career shift to take on a new challenge that would enable her to utilize her expertise in another sector. She entered the aviation industry, which she immediately felt was the change she had been looking for. Now in her sixth year as a program analyst for Lockheed Martin Corporation, she excels in her responsibilities of ensuring facility security for eastern service areas and nine districts. Ms. Flynn is known to take security issues head on by developing innovative solutions to resolve any issue that comes up. Further, she has demonstrated her ability to fulfill the Federal Aviation Administration requirements with proficiency.
In a recent interview, Ms. Flynn noted that her success has been a direct result of her passion for the work that she does. She was awarded by the FAA in 2011 with its Dare to Soar Honor, which recognizes leaders in the field. Ms. Flynn maintains the specialized knowledge needed to support the Federal Aviation Administration by taking on additional coursework and affiliating with industry organizations. She is currently working toward obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration and a master certificate in program management to further her career. As she looks to the next five years, Ms. Flynn intends to continue leading her team to success.
