JACKSONVILLE, FL, November 09, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/
-- In August, the City of Jacksonville approved construction permits for PDQ restaurant; shortly afterwards local Jacksonville company Performance Painting received the contract to paint the exteriors and interiors of the $1.1 million, 4,000-square-foot building.
Performance Painting started work on Oct. 21 and the painting project was scheduled to take eight days. The Performance Painting crew consisted of 17 members. Raymond Bryant was the project manager for the job and supervised day-to-day operations. Performance Painting completed the project on schedule and the restaurant had its grand opening on Nov 3, 2013.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to work with PDQ Restaurants. We look forward to their presence in the Jacksonville area," said, Jason Parker, owner of Performance Painting.
The "People Dedicated to Quality" (PDQ) restaurant is located at 3260 Hodges Blvd. in the Hodges Pointe Plaza. The restaurant is a Tampa-based chain that features chicken tenders, sandwiches, salads, sides and shakes. Tim Tebow is an investor in PDQ.
Tim Tebow is financially backing the PDQ restaurant located at Beach and Hodges, and possibly several North Florida and Georgia locations. Tebow will not have a franchise relationship with PDQ, instead he will be a private investor that financially supports new locations of the Tampa-based chain and shares in the proceeds.
