Personnel Concepts Alerts Nation's Employers to Recent Mandated Changes in Labor Law Posters
Beginning in late 2009, the federal government and some states have made numerous changes to their required workplace labor law posters. Personnel Concepts advises employers to verify if their posters are up to date and still in compliance.

ONTARIO, CA, March 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Personnel Concepts, pacesetter and pioneer in the labor law compliance industry, advises employers to survey their mandated labor law posters and other notification instruments to ensure that all are current in light of recent federal and state changes.

Starting in late 2009, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) revised its mandated poster to reflect regulations regarding the ADAAA (Americans With Disabilities Amendments Act) and GINA (the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act). Colorado, Oregon and Arizona all updated their minimum wage posters this year, while Missouri, Louisiana and Wisconsin have revised other mandated posters. More changes can be expected, both in terms of required lunch room posters and other notifications, which can either be posted or communicated via other means.

"Not all these changes require break room postings, but they do impose notification and record-keeping requirements that are both time-consuming and essential," said Robert Leland, director of research for Personnel Concepts. "This is a good time to survey what's in place and make sure every policy and procedure is in compliance.

Personnel Concepts offers a full array of posters and compliance/instructional kits to help employers stay current, so please visit http://www.PersonnelConcepts.com or call toll free at 800-333-3795 for further details.
