MESA, AZ, September 28, 2011
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Peter Hantz Company, 1840 E. University in Tempe, AZ is spreading a little beauty throughout the state by donating products to the Red Cross. The donations of shampoo, conditioner and combs will be distributed to homeless veterans, as well as active duty soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait.
Peter Hantz Company is an Arizona-based company that manufactures professional hair care products such as Hantz professional products and the exclusive eXo hair care line of shampoo, conditioner, styling gels, hair spray and more.
According to Gilda Genova, Arizona community outreach coordinator for the Red Cross, travel-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, as well as straight combs are an essential part of the comfort kits the Red Cross uses on an ongoing basis.
In addition to assisting victims of natural disasters and military personnel and their families, the American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter participates in Stand Down, an event held each winter in Phoenix to help homeless veterans receive services such as housing, food, clothing, toiletries and counseling to help them become self sufficient. More than 1,000 participants are expected to attend next year's event in February 2012.
"Restoring a person's sense of integrity and well being by offering simple daily-needs products such as shampoo, conditioner and a comb is a small donation that speaks volumes," said Stuart Wolman, marketing director of the Peter Hantz Company. "We are pleased to assist the Red Cross in their humanitarian efforts and look forward to a long and productive relationship."
Peter Hantz Company, which also operates International Academy of Hair Design and Aesthetics in Arizona, ITS Academy in Texas, Olympian University in New Mexico and Aladdin Beauty College in New Mexico and Oklahoma and Hair Benders Academy in Florida, has been involved in numerous charitable events.
The company recently donated 6 cases of shampoo and conditioner and two boxes of combs and brushes to the Drive to Joplin campaign to aid victims of recent tornadoes that devastated Joplin, Missouri.
The company's 21 cosmetology and aesthetics schools donate funds and services to homeless shelters, nursing homes, the American Cancer Society's "Look Good, Feel Better" program and the Face in the Mirror organization.
The Arizona schools include: International Academy of Hair Design in Metro Center, one at Desert Sky Mall in Phoenix, one in Fiesta Mall in Mesa, and the International Academy of Hair Design and Aesthetics in Tempe.

About the American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter
The American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter is where volunteers from across central, western and northern Arizona come together to help people in need every day.
