/24-7PressRelease/ - Norfolk, VA, August 29, 2008, Peter K. Johnson, Minister and Counselor for Lighthouse Student Ministries of the Tabernacle Church of Norfolk, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of spiritual counseling.

With more than 10 years of professional experience, Mr. Johnson specializes in counseling adolescents and families. His responsibilities include empowering adult volunteers and students, counseling, planning, conducting outreach ministry programs and acting as an in-home counselor. Mr. Johnson became involved in his profession because he was inspired by his youth pastor. He considers encouraging, equipping and empowering leaders and youth, completing his master's degree in counseling, passing the NCE exam and achieving his NCC to be the his greatest professional accomplishments and attributes his success to his faith in God.

A National Board Certified Counselor, Mr. Johnson received his Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Regent University in 2008 and his Bachelor of Arts in Ministry and Spiritual Formation from Wheaton College. He also completed an internship at Compass Youth Services. A volunteer with local charitable organizations, he is affiliated with the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry. Mr. Johnson hopes to continue to serve the church and dedicate himself to the ministry in the future.
