Peter Marosszeky Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who

Peter Marosszeky is an engineer, academic, researcher and technical consultant to industry



    RIVERVIEW, NSW, AUSTRALIA, February 27, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Peter Marosszeky, Director of Aerospace Developments Pty. Ltd. and Adjunct Senior Lecturer and Visiting Fellow of the Faculty of Science, School of Aviation at UNSW Sydney, was recently named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

With 50 years in aviation and 15 years of experience as the director of Aerospace Developments Pty. Ltd. and a senior academic at the School of Aviation at UNSW Sydney, Mr. Marosszeky provides technical and regulatory consulting to the aviation industry, and handles the design and development of systems and software for the aviation industry. He also lectures on new technologies and coordinates the Master's degree program in Aviation Technical Operations & Maintenance Management at the School of Aviation of the University of New South Wales. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Marosszeky has held senior engineer and executive management positions with a number of large international airlines. He is a consultant and lecturer on new technology aircraft, including Boeing 787, Airbus A380 and Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft. He is also an officer (AAC) in the Australian Army. He attributes his success to his love and passion for technology and aerospace. He became involved in his profession because his father was an aviator, and Peter has been fascinated by planes since he was a youngster.

Mr. Marosszeky holds a diploma in aircraft maintenance & engineering. In addition to his formal education, he is a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia) and a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (US Federal Aviation Administration).

Mr. Marosszeky is a member of the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS), a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), Member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (MAOPA) (USA Chapter) and Member of the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (MIAME). Mr. Marosszeky currently provides assistance through the EC to countries with issues relating to their non-compliance with EASA Rules and Regulations.
