With 49 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Lerona is considered an expert in his field and in teaching medical students diagnostic radiology. As a physician and radiologist at Medical Professional Associates of Arizona, P.C., his responsibilities include instructing medical students. Prior to his current position, Dr. Lerona was a chairman of the radiology department for 20 years. He attributes his success to his love for his profession, his ability to teach and to continuing medical education.

Dr. Lerona received his MD from the University of the Philippines in 1960. Presently, he is a member of the Association of University Radiologists, a founding member of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography Society and Director of the Clinical Clerkship Program in Radiology at the Maricopa Medical Center. In the future, Dr. Lerona hopes to continue practicing, teaching and serving the community.
