The pharmaceutical automation company PG Automation has been led by Mr. Gouin for the last year. Even during this short time, he has showcased an expertise for automation in pharmaceutical and automation technology in the life science industry. He has honed his talents for these areas over nearly two decades in the profession, having earned the bulk of his experience with Sandoz, the generic pharmaceuticals division of Novartis. Mr. Gouin spent 14 years working with this company in different management positions, and eventually was able to form a business of his own.
Today, Mr. Gouin is focused on developing PG Automation to become recognized as a reference business for automation technology in the life science industry. To meet this goal, he carefully oversees the company's strategic planning, cost control, project management, and research and development activities. Further, he plays an integral role in quality assurance, production, and compliance, even dedicating a large portion of his time to streamlining production and packaging processes.
Mr. Gouin's commitment to PG Automation is evident, and it will undoubtedly contribute to the company's expansion within the next few years. He already feels his success in pharmaceutical automation is a result of a stringent work ethic and rigorous schedule, as well as his methodical and analytical way of thinking.
He holds a diploma in electrical engineering from Sherbrooke College, and was recently honored for his accomplishments in the industry with induction into Worldwide Branding. He also belongs to the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering.
