Powell will present at the upcoming "Civil Justice for Crime Victims II" conference Wednesday, September 11, 2013. The conference will be conducted from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (MST) at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, 8000 South Arizona Grand Parkway in Phoenix, Arizona 85044.

Sponsored by the Arizona Association for Justice/Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, the conference is being held immediately following the National Crime Victim Bar Association's "Civil Actions for Criminal Acts" conference taking place Monday, September 9 through the morning of Wednesday, September 11, 2013.

As one of the three expert presenters, attorney Sara J. Powell will present a session titled "Emotional Distress Damages for Breach of Contract: New Applications in Crime Victim Cases. Scheduled for 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Powell will discuss how crime victims can obtain financial compensation for the harm they have suffered, as well as holding accountable those responsible.
