BOSEMAN, MT, September 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- While photo/artist Kae Cheatham was busy preparing for her last outdoor show of the season (in Boulder, Montana), she received word that her image production had caught the eye of TODAY'S VISIONS: The Indie Eco-Village. They chose her as a feature artist on 30 August with a write-up and a sample of her eclectic works.
Kae has been a professional photographer since 1987 when she began capturing various equine events and rural activities on film. Traditional 35mm SLRs were Kae's cameras of preference in the 1980s and '90s, but since 2002 she has embraced the digital era. Some of her images from her film days, she has scanned into her computer and given new life with Internet exposure. Today she has an online presence through a FaceBook Fan Page, the commercial outlet at Fine Art America (FAA), and now, TODAY'S VISIONS.
Through the years, Kae's photographs have been used in many publications, including American Cowboy, Royal Wings (an international in-flight magazine), Bloodlines, and Pro Rodeo World (along with her articles); photos have been included as illustrations in several books. Twenty-four gallery images were exhibited in Helena, Montana's The Myrna Loy Center for Performing and Visual Media during March, 2014. Her unique digital abstracts are available at the Paris Gibson Square Museum (Great Falls, Montana) gift shop. On September 6 and 7, she will be set up in her final outdoor show of the season, the Boulder Music and Art Festival, in Boulder, Montana's Veterans park.
Kae has been employed in a variety of positions, from research analyst to magazine editor. She has authored thirteen published books, and also gives history presentations through the Humanities Montana Speakers Bureau. She will also be showing her art work at several indoor shows during the rest on 2014.
