Without having to actually visit shops and spend time researching, users can look for the latest foreign and local trends and shop on the same platform. Furthermore, in PICINIT, 41 different languages can be translated in real time making it possible for users to enjoy the contents without a language barrier.
Various fancy photos are displayed cleverly, which gives users a special experience as if they are looking at an actual shop window. And by clicking the ZINE tap in the upper part of the screen, users can subscribe to magazines. Each magazine has a different theme, so that users can pick the one that matches their interest. One of the distinguishing features with PICINIT is that users can scroll through the street fashions of famous fashion bloggers or stars like Emma Watson and Suzy etc. as well as fancy pictures of food, animals and so on just like they are leafing through paper magazines. Of course it is also possible to create and release a user's customized version of a magazine, with the contents they choose.
Different from Facebook which has only a 'Like' option to show users' emotions, PICINIT has four different icons which make it possible to express a more diverse range of feelings and with a reply section, users can interact with the person who uploaded a photo. Buzz Bee Inc. is planning to expand their business into Japan this coming December. They are doing their best in developing and publicizing a Japanese version of the application.
