Pinal Energy Achieves Yield Improvements Using Arisdyne Systems Cavitation System to Enhance Ethanol Yield
In Addition to Better Yields, the System Consumes Comparatively Less Energy in a Small Footprint

CLEVELAND, OH, February 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pinal Energy, LLC agreed to license and acquire Arisdyne Systems, Inc.'s patented cavitation system to increase ethanol production from current grain consumption, following test results of enhanced yield improvements with the use of cavitation in a mixed feedstock environment.

"Seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce production costs are critical challenges to all grain-based ethanol producers," explained Dr. Peter Reimers, president and CEO of Arisdyne. "Ethanol producers are facing very volatile, uncertain industry policies and economic conditions. Today's plants face expansion limitations from both state environmental agencies as well as federally mandated Renewable Fuel Standards."

Grain-based producers are seeking yield improvements as a key to enhanced margins. Converting more starch to sugars for fermentation is the first step facing the industry today.
In an effort to improve ethanol yield, grain-based plants are evaluating competing particle-size reduction technologies to improve ethanol yield. Arisdyne's technology has proven to be very energy efficient and requires very little plant floor space.

"In the midst of several operations improvement projects at Pinal, Arisdyne conducted its Cavitation Analysis and Verification (CAV) Test to demonstrate system results on more starch/sugar conversion and enhanced ethanol yields," said Fred Clarke, executive vice president of Arisdyne. "During our four-month test, both the operations and lab teams were invaluable in monitoring and measuring data, and sharing results along the way."
