/24-7PressRelease/ - TEANECK, NJ, November 07, 2006 - Ping Mobile and Dallas Texas-based M/C/C joined forces on October 12-15, 2006 to deliver a mobile marketing campaign for Alienware during the Digital Life Trade Show in New York City that achieved a 58% response rate.

Ping Mobile's system provided the engine to create, manage and execute the time-specific campaign, where prizes were set to be automatically awarded to participants who completed the Text2Win requirements within a specified time-frame, and during specific days.
"Our goal was to drive as many attendees to the Alienware Presentations as possible, while at the same time create a lot of buzz about the campaign AND the client throughout the course of the show" said Ping Mobile's Executive VP, Nicole Mayraz. Attendees were approached by buzz agents who circulated throughout the trade show floor and spread the word about the upcoming presentations and subsequent Text2Win promotion for attendees.
During these presentations, attendees were told to text in a special keyword in order to qualify for the prize, and the Ping Mobile system randomly selected and automatically notified the winners via text message (SMS) before the end of the presentation.
Prizes included two Alienware Aurora 7500's, with an MSRP value of $4,919.00, which were collected by the winners immediately following the announcement of the winners. Additional prizes included various Alienware system and gaming accessories.
"Results for the campaign were tremendous, with a 58% response rate to the initial Text2Win promotion," explained Ping Mobile CEO, Shira Simmonds, "and 23% of participants completing a second opt-in request to continue to receive various marketing promotions and messages from Alienware in the future.
