/24-7PressRelease/ - May 24, 2007 - Since its launch earlier this month, Pixdle.com: Advertise On The Billion (http://www.pixdle.com), has gone from an empty start-up micro-advertising webpage to one with 11 registered advertisers and over 20,000 active pixels. Now, Pixdle is making it even more appealing to advertise on its website by offering free ad space until 2020 and giving back over 27 million dollars to its advertisers.

Pixdle.com was created, according to Brad Martindale its owner, "To offer advertisers a cheap, long-term solution for online advertising while being the first website ever to sell one billion pixels worth of advertising space.". To increase awareness and encourage advertisers to participate, Pixdle is announcing several exciting changes to its current advertising model.

With the announcement, Pixdle will now be paying back advertisers more than 27 million dolloars over the course of its journey to fill the one billion pixels worth of advertising space. Pixdle manages 1000 million pixel advertising boards which get randomly displayed to visitors to its website. Pixdle says that it will give back half of the money generated from the ad sales on these boards to 5 advertisers as each group of 100 million pixel boards fills up. To support giving away this kind of money, Pixdle has also changed its pricing model. The changes include one advertising board being completely free with the most expensive advertising board being ten pennies per pixel. Pixdle.com is also announcing that once all billion pixels have been sold, advertisers can sell or rent their Pixdle.com ad space to other advertisers if they wish.

When asked why he made these changes, Brad said, "I wanted to give people more incentive to advertise with Pixdle. People ask me why visitors would want to come to Pixdle and browse the ad boards or use Pixdle's search function. The hard answer, I tell them, is they won't, unless the boards are filling up and there is actually a chance that all billion will be sold. What better way to fill the boards than to offer advertisers a chance at getting something in return. By offering free ad space and increasing the advertiser payouts, the boards will fill up faster. I believe this will drive people to the site to see what all they hype is about. I also believe the battle is in getting them here and once they see what Pixdle is all about, they'll find that it provides a fun, useful service."

With its new pricing model and appealing advertiser incentives, Pixdle is positioning itself to become the first website to sell one billion pixels worth of advertising space. Will advertisers accept this new model? Will Pixdle sell all one billion pixels? Only time will tell. One thing's for sure, no one is as comitted to offering advertisers a cheap, long-term solution for online advertising as Pixdle.
