Plastic Surgeons Offered Educational Lunch in August

Dr. Scott Gayner, Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, offered a Lunch & Learn event in August, where patients learned the latest about Sculptra Aesthetic, an injectable filler for facial enhancement.

MECHANICSBURG, PA, August 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stratis Gayner Plastic Surgery hosted a Lunch and Learn event on August 10 for women and men interested in Sculptra Aesthetic. Dr. John Stratis, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Dr. Scott Gayner, Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, designed these luncheons as a means to educate their patients -about popular surgical and minimally-invasive procedures in an environment that is relaxed and enjoyable. In the past, the surgeons covered a variety of topics, including nonsurgical facial rejuvenation and body contouring procedures such as liposuction.

"I always look forward to our Lunch and Learn events, but I was particularly excited to explain the many benefits of the injectable treatment, Sculptra Aesthetic," notes Dr. Gayner. "The event took place on August 10 from 12 to 1pm, and was a great way for women and men with busy lifestyles to combine a delicious meal with professional medical advice. We like to create a fun and casual atmosphere, where people can learn about new treatments or discuss their experiences with other procedures.

Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved dermal filler. Made with poly-L-lactic acid, Sculptra stimulates collagen growth over time. Because it diminishes wrinkles while correcting facial fat loss, Sculptra also treats the loss of volume in areas such as the cheeks. The treatment is performed at Stratis Gayner Plastic Surgery, and most patients return for 2 to 4 treatments, with 4 to 6 weeks in between each visit to attain youthful and healthy looking skin.

"The star of this event, Sculptra Aesthetic, is a popular option at our practice among women and men who notice a loss in facial volume," says Dr. Gayner. "This simple yet effective treatment is an excellent way to rejuvenate the skin. In addition to explaining the benefits of this treatment, we also offer a special for patients who schedule a consultation on the day of a Lunch and Learn seminar: they will only pay half price to meet with a surgeon."

Stratis Gayner Plastic Surgery offers a full spectrum of surgical and nonsurgical procedures. Dr. Stratis and Dr. Gayner take pride in providing personalized treatment plans for every patient, from BOTOX Cosmetic for those desiring non-surgical facial rejuvenation to breast implant for Harrisburg women interested in breast augmentation.
