Poet Harry E. Gilleland, Jr. Publishes New Book, Poetic Musings of an Old, Fat Man

Gilleland, Jr. offers eighty-one of his latest works in his newly published book, Poetic Musings of an Old, Fat Man, released 29 February 2008 through Lulu Press. Poet Gilleland is best known for his pioneering use of the "storoem" format. A storoem is a story-poem, i.e. a story told with poetic techniques. This collection contains both rhyming poems and storoems, as well as free-verse poems, acrostic poems, and limericks.

Harry Gilleland has now published three print books of his poetry, plus a fantasy novella entitled Bob the Dragon Slayer and a contemporary romance novel entitled White Lightning Road. Around poetry forums and writing sites on the Internet, Gilleland is known as LaHarry (Louisiana Harry) or HarryG.
