/24-7PressRelease/ - November 18, 2006 - The poker sites accepting US players like the ones listed at (www.compatiblepoker.com/usa.php) say they will not stop supporting the US market while US online poker players say they will continue to play.

The full effect of the UIEGA has not yet to be seen. Many believed that because so many online poker rooms were closing to the US that online poker was over. Poker players instead just went to poker sites still taking US players like PokerStars.com.

Major impacts on the gambling market have been seen but many believe we've seen only a small glimpse at the future. Players are now waiting to see what the deposit providers are doing before they make assumptions about online poker in the US and whether is will "disappear" or not.

Giants like Neteller which have been funding online gamblers in the US will leave a giant crater in the poker market if they stop accepting US gambling deposits. Many believe it is only time before they decide to do so while others believe other ewallet providers will continue their US support.

The poker rooms which have dropped out of the US market and the ones which issues press releases saying they will stay are listed at www.compatiblepoker.com/usa.php. This page which was launched also has US poker FAQ, hourly updates, and news regarding deposit methods as well as special reports on US online poker.

The giants who left the US online poker scene were Party Poker, Paradise Poker, Pacific Poker, Poker Room and many more. The biggest sites to continue US support seems to be PokerStars.com which nearly 100,000 players at the tables during the weekends. Daily press releases are now being issued at the US poker online news page so that players are kept informed.

This press release was issued for news regarding the US informational page at Compatiblepoker. Poker players should check with local, federal and state laws before determining if they should play online poker in the US for real money. Compatiblepoker is not responsible for poker players gambling on the internet as they are solely and information source and don't take wagers.
