Pond World offers Water Lilies and Lotus available in wide and varying colors that are shipped bare root. Bare root means the customer receives a tuber or root ball that must be planted in a pot and aquatic plant media, prior to placement in the pond.
Water Lilies are available in both hardy and tropical varieties. Due to shipping sensitivity, Lotus are only available in the early spring through April.
More than 60 varieties of Marginal plants are also available through Pond World. Marginal plants are used around the edge of a pond or in a bog and are great at absorbing excess nutrients and adding character to a pond. All Marginals are shipped in 4" pots and are ready to be added to the pond.
Finally, a limited selection of oxygenating grasses are also for sale. These plants are typically placed in the bottom of the pond and are used to add beneficial oxygen to the water during that day and to also help control nutrients. Like Marginals, Oxygenators are also shipped in 4" pots and are ready for placement into the pond.
All plants ordered from PondWorld.com are harvested and shipped direct from the plant farm as they are ordered. To help ensure safe delivery, plants are only shipped from the farm Monday through Wednesday to prevent the possibility of weekend hold over in a shipping center.
