LOS ANGELES, CA, January 20, 2010
/24-7PressRelease/ -- American Pop Singer Darren Farris announced that he is donating 100% of the proceeds from all physical and digital sales of his hit album, Psychopathic Issues to a Haiti relief fund this week.
According to Farris' spokesman, Gordon Levine said, "Darren was watching disaster coverage of relief and called me up in a shaken state because he has several fans from Haiti as well as the neighboring Dominican Republic. It's funny how devoted he is to his fans and really sees it through that sort of narrow prism. Darren is very grateful for the success of the album [Psychopathic Issues] and is always thinking of ways to use his music as a means for greater good and serving humanity. Furthermore, Darren understands that all musicians are not able to give 100% for 7 days, so this is not some type of challenge to Madonna or Lady GaGa to do the same. He just hopes what he gives will do some good."
Farris is currently putting the final touches on his upcoming album only known as The DPZ Project, which missed the target release date of January 1st, 2010. The album Psychopathic Issues, as well as tracks such as the hit songs "Jenna" and "Save Me" can be purchased at most leading retailers, including iTunes and Amazon. 100% of the proceeds from every download or physical purchase until January 28th, 2010 will go to the Salvation Army Haiti Relief Fund.
