Tiffen says he learned to manage people by reading avidly and by having excellent mentors who included his father and two uncles who founded The Tiffen Company in 1938. "I once read that the best management style is the one that's needed at the time," said Tiffen. "A company must find out what its customers want and give it to them, changing direction based on current conditions."
Tiffen's accomplishments include his company's winning multiple OSCAR and EMMY awards and locally the Large Business Achievement Award in HIA-LI's competitive contest in 2010.
