Sloane Ranger. The brand began as an idea to fashion the checklist for the Sloane Ranger. Inspired by the streets of Sloane Square in London, it was time to bring the Sloane's effortless cool and confident styling across the pond, and thus the Sloane Ranger brand was born.
"London is such a special place for me. I make the trip at least twice per year and I have always been inspired by the Sloanes of Chelsea. With this brand we will bring the Sloane Ranger lifestyle to the American public," says Chief Creative Officer Maureen Lorr Schmidt.
Sloane Ranger's initial product launch includes a
range of heavyweight canvas bags and small accessories with preppy animal motifs in classic, muted color stories. The brand has plans to expand into other categories of merchandise including leather-trimmed goods, apparel and more.
The official Sloane Ranger launch will take place this July at AmericasMart Atlanta. The brand will be showcased in the AmericasMart Showroom Just Got 2 Have It and will be an integral part of Just Got 2 Have It's official show theme, "The Royal Treatment."
Sloane Ranger will also have a presence at the following summer trade shows: Dallas Market (Daniel Richards #2135); Chicago (Daniel Richards #13-512); LA Mart (Sales Producers #451), the New York International Gift Fair (Booth# 1313) and WWDMAGIC Las Vegas (jrs LVCC71910).
The Sloane Ranger brand will be sold exclusively in college bookstores and higher-end specialty retailers across the country including all Swoozies store locations,
