/24-7PressRelease/ - AMMAN, JORDAN, November 17, 2005 - Princess Sumaya University for Technology Student Council organized a stand in at the University Campus to condemn Wednesday's terrorist attacks and express their support towards the Jordanian society.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya Bint El-Hassan participated in the stand in and delivered a speech in which she strongly condemned the attacks and expressed deep sympathy for the families of those who were killed in the attacks.
The stand in was organized together with the German-Jordanian University, and the participation of the administrative and faculty members which followed a request by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Khalid Touqan, to unite the students within the kingdom as they voice their outrage of the terrorist attacks which on this occasion impacted the lives of Jordanians.
Mr Saif Ma'ani, President of the Student Council said, "The students represent a strong voice within the Jordanian Society and the PSUT students will continue to actively participate in the events that occur within Jordan and support all the efforts, on this occasion by organizing a stand in condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Amman."
