PRINTEK Announces Two New Series of Serial Impact Printers

The FormsPro 5000 and PrintMaster 700 series printers will provide users in the industrial and commercial market space with the best in multi-part forms printing and superior paper handling.

The FormsPro 5000 is a top-of-the-line printer series that offers both single and dual tractor models of printers. This series is designed for use in heavy workload applications and offers impressive print speed along with a host of connectivity options. Both the single tractor (FormsPro 5000) and dual tractor (FormsPro 5002) printers come with standard parallel and ethernet connectivity and have available options for RS-232 serial, ethernet with SCS or IPDS, or coax/twinax with SCS or IPDS connectivity.

These printers also provide easy forms loading and handling with a straight through paper path. A push tractor allows for continuous paper feed with tear off and park positions. The printer series is also ideal for "on-demand" or "batch" printing since it offers true zero tear for no wasted forms.

The PrintMaster 700 series printers (700, 702) are narrow carriage, mid-range printers that are capable of handling workloads up to 20,000 pages per month. The PrintMaster 700 is a single tractor offering, while the PrintMaster 702 is the dual tractor version.

These printers are exceptionally priced and offer features normally found only on much more expensive printers. For example, the printers come with a 24-pin print head with a rated lifetime of 500 million characters, an intuitive, easy-to-use control panel, and many built-in emulations plus standard parallel, ethernet, and usb interfaces.
