Prominent Local Construction Project Manager Named to Art Organization's Board of Directors

Sean Leonard becomes Studio Channel Islands Art Center's newest board member



    CAMARILLO, CA, October 09, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sean Leonard, president and CEO of S.L. Leonard & Associates, has joined the board of directors for the Studio Channel Islands Art Center, a nonprofit organization that provides creative learning experiences through art programs for people of all ages.

Leonard is a recognized leader in construction project management with more than 30 years' experience in the Southern California real estate development and construction industry. In conjunction with his team, he has managed and/or consulted on the design or construction of nearly 1.4 million square feet for nonprofits in Ventura County. Active in the community, Leonard also serves as the vice chair of the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, is vice board chair of A Community of Friends, developers of low-income and special needs housing and board member of the Ventura County Medical Resources Foundation.

Studio Channel Islands Art Center in Camarillo is a cultural hub with more than 20 studios for nearly 40 working artists.
