Given today's computer networks reach speeds of tens of Gb/s, it is necessary to use hardware acceleration in the form of specialized accelerated cards equipped with ASIC or FPGA chips. In an effort to support research of these technologies, INVEA-TECH company modified its FPGA applications for using with NetFPGA-10G card.
NetFPGA-10G is a four-port network interface card accelerated with FPGA chip supporting 10G Ethernet technology. The card has been developed by NetFPGA community (http://netfpga.org/) at Stanford University (http://www.stanford.edu/). The card is connected to host computer via PCI Express bus, which enables high-speed data transfers between the card and host computer.
