ABOUT RAII & WHITNEY SMITH
RAII (pronounced Rye) & Whitney, are not your typical recording artists. Although many young entertainers write, perform and sing; very few have had the opportunity to do so while sharing some of the world's biggest stages with some of music's biggest stars like John Legend, Estelle, Ed Sheeran, Chrisette Michele, Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Alicia Keys...and their significant other. That is the case of RAII and Whitney, who have spent the last seven years traveling the world, performing, writing and arranging music together. The couple married in 2010 in Chicago, IL, and beginning in 2012, RAII joined Whitney as a member of Alicia Keys' band. In June 2016, the duo performed Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's classic duet, "You're All I Need to Get By" to rave reviews on America's Got Talent. They are currently writing and recording music for various upcoming projects and are excited to share their music with the world. Check out their first release, "No Worries, Step Clap" from their upcoming studio album "A Time For Everything." To learn more about RAII and Whitney, visit raiiandwhitney.com.
