/24-7PressRelease/ -- RAB announces a big upgrade to the LPACK product line, raising the bar of performance for Affordable Outdoor LED Lighting. Shipping now, the LPACK13 is a high-performance LED Wallpack that has even higher efficiency and faster payback for those making the switch to LED.
The LPACK13 replaces 150W Metal Halide Wallpacks and can be mounted at heights up to 20 feet. Compared to the LPACK10, the LPACK13 produces 94% more lumens and is 84% more efficient, which in turn provides a higher return on investment (ROI) and faster payback. RAB has also upgraded the driver, with additional surge protection up to 4000 volts and compatibility with input voltage from 120-240V and 277V.
The LPACK13 comes in Energy Star approved configurations (consult factory for ordering details). In addition to Energy Star, the LPACK13 is classified as IESNA full-cutoff, fully shielded and is IDA Dark Skies Approved. LEED Buildings can use the LPACK13 to achieve LEED Points for Light Pollution Reduction.
The 13 watt LPACK is available in bronze or white finish and is suitable for both commercial and residential applications to light entrances, pathways and facades and is UL Listed for Wet Locations as a downlight and Damp Locations as an uplight.
RAB dramatically shrunk the carbon footprint of the traditional wallpack with a unique design specifically engineered for LED technology, resulting in 50% less aluminum and glass. RAB Engineers use state of the art computational fluid dynamics software to assure LED Light Engine life is optimized for long term use.
LPACK13 is LM-79 and LM-80 tested, has earned the U.S. Department of Energy's Lighting Facts label and L70 Lifetime Determination data is available upon request. All RAB LED products carry a five-year warranty, which covers the fixture and the components.
