ERIE, PA, November 7, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rachael Kristine Weeman, a teacher with Early Connections Daycare-Pre K Counts, has been recognized as a VIP member of Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in early childhood education.

Ms. Weeman joined Early Connections Daycare-Pre K Counts earlier this year after teaching for Surry County Public Schools in Dendron, VA. She attended The University of Toledo, where she was named to the Dean's List for four semesters, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development. She is certified to teach Early Childhood (P-3) and Reading (P-3) in the state of Ohio and Early Childhood (N-3) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is now busy honing an expertise in teaching reading to pre-kindergarten through third-grade students. Ms. Weeman is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, Tau Sigma and Pi Kappa Delta. She credits her pursuit of a career in early childhood education to the many teachers who touched her heart while she was growing up. She is most proud of successfully helping a kindergarten student who had no prior schooling achieve all the benchmarks necessary to go on to the first grade and attributes her rapid success to her hard work and passion for her profession.
