/24-7PressRelease/ - Rocky Mount, NC, June 25, 2008, Rachel Dix, College Store Manager for North Carolina Wesleyan College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of business management.

Ms. Dix has 29 years of professional experience, during which she has honed an expertise in purchasing and retail management. On a daily basis she is responsible for assisting students with educational needs, managing the retail business, monitoring cash registers and managing business operations including shipping, buying, distributing and purchasing. She attributes her success to her education and programs through the National Association of College Stores in Oberlin, Ohio.

In 1971, Ms. Dix received earned her Associate's Degree in Accounting from Pembroke State University and has completed coursework in Retail Management at graduate school at Indiana University. She is a member of the National Association of College Stores and served as Chairman for the Campus Computer Resellers Alliance, the Dean of the Stanford Summer Institute, a Chairman for the local golf department and President of the North Carolina College Store Association. She served as a trustee for NACS for three years, served on the advisory board for West Publishing Co. and McGraw-Hill Publishing and served as Chair of Small Store Committee, Education Committee and Program Committee with NACS.
