/24-7PressRelease/ -- P1 Groupe, the premier motorsports management company announces that it has been retained by racing star, Jeff Bucknum, the son of sports car legend, Ronnie Bucknum. P1 Groupe will provide full management services for Bucknum including marketing, branding, and overall management. Bucknum has a storied racing career dating back to the 1990s when he made his start racing at the Santa Maria Karting Track. More recently he has been competing professionally in GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Series with strong showings during the 2010 season.

Bucknum has had a strong racing career that has earned him a fan following among racing enthusiasts around the world. Among some of his most significant highlights include racing at the Indy 500 in both 2005 and 2006. In 2005 he won the 12 hours of Sebring in the LMP 2 class. This past season he raced competitively in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Series with Stevenson Motorsports in Camaro GS.R. Teaming with fellow P1 Groupe driver Matt Bell the pair captured two pole positions, two podiums and four Top-10 finishes. They also led the 5th most laps in the series on their way to a Top-10 in the final Team Championship Standings on the season. Bucknum resides in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
