/24-7PressRelease/ -- PAVA land-owning subsidiary Russian Agricultural Division said spring wheat harvest was completed in Selkhozholding Ltd. (Romanovo district) and Agrofirma Niva Ltd. (Solton district). According to company agronomists, these farms, both located in the Altay Territory, have shown yields surpassing the initial target by 30%.
The flagship enterprise, operating in the same region, is Allac Ltd. This farm, marked by soils with excellent productivity potential, has shown the average yield of 24 hundredweight of wheat per ha. The company says, if the spell of fine weather is to stay, harvest in Allac will be finished in three days.
RAD farms of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported that for the current spring wheat campaign less than 1/3 acreage remains to be harvested.
"Weather has slightly hindered the scheduled terms, but now the conditions look favourable. We rely on the well co-ordinated effort and efficiency of the machinery fleet in our positive forecasts", said A. Kalashnikov, RAD CEO.
