    WASHINGTON, DC, February 04, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- WHO:
Rainbow Station at Wyndham provides educational development programs for children ages 0-14, including extended day nursery school, preschool, pre-K and Kindergarten programming as well as before- and after-school care and summer camps. The school is located at 5701 Wyndham Park Drive in Glen Allen. The campus has an on-site infirmary attended by a pediatric nurse to provide emergency back-up care for mildly ill children, which is open to any child in the community who is current on their immunizations regardless of whether or not they are enrolled in the school. "The Get Well Place" with its specialized reverse ventilation system is one of only 300 facilities estimated to provide this service in nation. Additional information is available on the school's website, http://www.rainbowstation.org/12-Rainbow-Station-at-Wyndham

Yoga teacher Julie Everett is an E-RYT 200 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) with the Yoga Alliance and is currently working on her 500 certification. Over the years she has studied many different forms of yoga and found that her true love for teaching lies in sharing yoga with children and infants. She has studied with the Radiant Child Yoga program and also with Itsy Bitsy Yoga and bases the majority of her classes on their fundamental structure, always ensuring that the experience is fun and nurturing for the child, never pushing.

Capital Diaper Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing diapers to poor and low-income families in the Central Virginia area through its member organizations. Modeled on successful regional food banks, CDB collects disposable diapers and cash donations (which are used to purchase diapers in bulk). The diapers are then distributed to poor and low-income families through CDB's member organizations - non-profits that serve poor and low-income families.

WHY:

Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. When they stretch like a dog, balance like a flamingo, breathe like a bunny, or stand strong and tall like a tree, they are making a connection between the macrocosm of their environment and the microcosm of their bodies.
