Raleigh Little Theatre Presents 'The Man Who Came To Dinner'

    RALIEGH, NC, February 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Raleigh Little Theatre is pleased to present their first production of the new year, The Man Who Came to Dinner, February 11-27. First produced by Raleigh Little Theatre in 1941, this classic theatre favorite will be performed in the Cantey V. Sutton Main Stage Theatre and will be directed by Haskell Fitz-Simons. This hilarious three act comedy is sure to keep audiences laughing from beginning to end.

Meet Sheridan Whiteside, an arrogant radio celebrity, as he attends a dinner party thrown by the suburban upper class hosts, Mr. & Mrs. Stanley. After slipping and breaking his hip on the doorstep, Mr. Whiteside becomes the family's demanding long-term houseguest and an absolute nightmare. For six weeks he monopolizes the living room and is visited by various locals and several offbeat, but hilarious characters that help drive his helpless hosts crazy.

Tickets for The Man Who Came to Dinner are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors and students. On the first Sunday, February 13, tickets will be $12 for all attendees. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.raleighlittletheatre.org or from the RLT Box Office at 919-821-3111.
