He works with a team to ensure the safe arrival of the individual at the hospital and lets the doctor taking over know the patient's vital signs, medical history and any appropriate interventions, such as medication administration, airway management and cardiac monitoring during the time of transport. His expertise is in overseeing advanced life support treatments. Mr. Waltz notes that he became involved in his profession because he has always been interested in healthcare professions, and he particularly enjoys the fast-paced nature of his work. The most rewarding aspect of Mr. Waltz's career is helping others and saving lives.
