Principle broker and co-owner of Neighborhood Consulting, Christopher S. Lim, attributes the successful sale to the ability of his firm to "rise up and bring in cash investors, even in this bad economy." He went on to credit commercial real estate sales agent Jerome Yuan for successfully closing the sale.
Lim and his partner David T. Lu, co-owner and chief financial officer, clearly have the cash investors necessary to help distressed residential and commercial property owners avoid foreclosure. The company has the resources to bring together qualified buyers of residential as well as commercial properties very quickly.
The asking price was $27.5 million, according to Lim.
"After the hotel was up for sale for about a year, we received a call for help to find an investor. We were able to immediately find a buyer and get the offer accepted, with an offer less than the asking price. We are known for our ability to bring qualified buyers to the table who are ready to purchase quickly," explained Lim about the way his firm came in to save the day after others failed.
