Dawson, a substance abuse counselor for CRC Health has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in substance abuse counseling. Dawson, an authority in substance abuse couseling, has 13 years of experience in the field. Her areas of expertise include outpatient services, treatment and medical assistance for heroin addicts, case management, intake issues, the development of planning goals and providing outside referrals. Dawson, a member of the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors and the California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators, is pursuing her bachelors degree from the University of Phoenix and expects to receive it this year. Dawson also has an associate of arts in behavioral science from San Diego City College.
