She is skilled in managing large exposure cases involving the defense of manufacturers and health professionals, including drafting discovery, communication with local, opposing and corporate counsel and drafting motions and briefs to be submitted in both federal and state courts nationally, as well as defending and taking depositions of fact and expert witnesses, attending hearings, and defending clients at trial. Ms. Herbig notes that she was initially attracted to law because it is the profession of her father. During her studies, Ms. Herbig became particularly intrigued by product liability and medical malpractice due to the complexity of the legal, engineering and medical issues involved. It is undeniable that Ms. Herbig is quite accomplished considering the short amount of time she has been practicing law. She feels that her uncommon success is due to her love for the profession, not to mention her keen legal insights.
Ms. Herbig received her JD from the University of Richmond and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary.
