Inspired by her aunt, a sculptor, and her grandmother, a gifted storyteller, Ms. Walters decided to build her own career in the arts. She has 19 years of professional experience in the business and is now recognized as an authority on Latin American and Mexican art. In 2007, she established Fine Art and Design, a firm that offers fine art, artist representation and interior design services. As the owner, Ms. Walters discovers and promotes emerging artists, finds suitable spaces in which they can exhibit their work, raises funds, and sells pieces to designers, art consultants, architects and galleries. Ms. Walters attended the Savannah College of Art and Design and completed training in fine arts in Mexico, where she lived for many years. Her favorite charities include Dreams Come True Therapeutic Riding, the American Red Cross, the Gathered to Give Foundation and her local church, where she sits as chairwoman for the arts.
